Ultrasonic welding

Ultrasonic welding uses high-frequency vibrations (20, 30, 35 kHz) to generate localised heat at the interface between two plastic parts.

  • Short cycles (< 1 s)
  • Clean assemblies, no filler material
  • Ideal for amorphous and semi-crystalline thermoplastics
  • Insertion, staking, continuous welding

Vibration welding

Vibration welding

Linear vibration produces controlled friction between two parts under pressure. Suited to large surfaces and technical parts.

  • Surfaces up to several hundred cm²
  • Compatible with filled materials (fibres)
  • Ideal for automotive: tanks, manifolds
  • Fluid- and gas-tight sealing

Hot plate welding

A heating element plasticises the surfaces to be joined, which are then pressed together. Robust and versatile.

  • Challenging materials (filled PP, PE, PA)
  • Perfect sealing
  • Large parts, complex geometries
  • Non-contact option available (IR)
